ATS Timber Floor Care
Looking After Your ATS Timber Floor.
To make caring for your floor as straightforward as possible, we've summarised the most important maintenance recommendations below. Following these simple guidelines will help preserve the appearance and longevity of your ATS Timber flooring.
Regular Cleaning
Sweep, dust mop, or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and grit.
Use a vacuum with a hard-floor setting where possible.
Clean spills promptly to prevent moisture from penetrating the floor.
Use entrance mats at external doors to help reduce dirt and debris being tracked inside.
Mopping & Cleaning Products
Use a lightly damp microfibre mop for routine cleaning.
Avoid excessive water during cleaning.
Use cleaning products specifically designed for timber flooring.
Always follow the cleaning product manufacturer's instructions.
Steam Mops:
Steam mops are not recommended for ATS Timber flooring. Excessive heat and moisture can damage the floor and may affect warranty coverage.
Furniture & Heavy Items
Apply felt pads to furniture legs.
Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging it across the floor.
Use protective mats beneath office chairs and other furniture that moves regularly.
Avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects onto the floor surface.
Pets & Everyday Wear
Keep pet nails trimmed to help minimise scratching.
Place mats beneath pet water bowls.
Remove sand, stones, and grit promptly as these can act like sandpaper on the floor surface.
