Shaw Road.

A malfunctioning dishwasher burnt the kitchen, and the client decided that if things had to change, everything would: new paint, new cabinetry, new floors. We laid Western herringbone while the kitchen was rebuilt around it. They loved the floor so much they had us back a month later to do the entry as well.

How it went.

The reason

A malfunctioning dishwasher burnt the kitchen. Bad luck became a fresh start: the client decided the paint, the cabinetry and the floors would all be done properly, at once.

The scope

Western herringbone through the living spaces, laid while the kitchen was rebuilt around it, the trades working in sequence so the floor went down clean.

The result

A kitchen that started with a fire ended as the best room in the house, with one pattern running under the new cabinetry and on through the fireplace room.

The encore

A month after we packed up, the client called us back: the entry deserved the same floor. The best review a job can get is the second booking.
