Where it shines
Light oak with the grain gently opened up, so the surface reads lived-in rather than showroom-new. It carries the relaxed look without giving up the select-grade calm.
What it pairs with
The relaxed texture suits relaxed rooms: oak furniture, wool and stone tones, kitchens that get used. Select grade keeps knots few and far between, so the character never tips into rustic.
Keeping it right
A light board with texture is the most forgiving combination there is: dust, footprints and small scuffs all disappear into the grain. A mat at the doors and a dry microfibre mop do the routine, and our Oak Plank floor care guide covers the rest.
