Where it shines
A rich brown that makes a room feel settled from the day the furniture arrives. The sun picks out the red in it; the evening lights turn it deeper.
What it pairs with
The classic pairing colour: white walls, dark joinery, leather and linen all read as intended against it. Select grade keeps knots few and far between, so the warmth never turns busy.
Keeping it right
