Oak Plank.
Oak boards cut from French oak of an exceptionally high grade, so knots are few and far between: long, clean lengths that calm a room down. One select grade, three formats to carry it.

Why Oak Plank.
Select grade, by definition
The grade is the point: boards cut from timber where knots are few and far between, in long, clean lengths. The floor reads calm because the oak was chosen that way.
The 25 year backbone
The boards carry a 25 year structural warranty, in plain terms rather than fine print. The full document lives with every colour once the lineup lands.
Honest about water
Water-resistant and installed for kitchens, laundries and bathrooms under the E3 Alternative Solution pathway, with the compliance document written and ready. Not waterproof; no timber is, and we will not tell you otherwise.
Quiet enough for apartments
The 15mm board was impact tested in a real apartment building, laid straight onto the slab, and earned the five star acoustic rating body corporate rules typically ask for.
Certified forests only
The oak arrives through an FSC chain of custody, certificate GMP-COC-104001, so every board traces back to forests managed to still be forests long after your floor is down.
The details.
The numbers that decide most choices. The specification sheet, the 25 year warranty and the wet area documents will live with each colour as the lineup lands.

One board, four jobs.
Cut an Oak Plank board in half and the same four layers look back, each there for a reason. Select grade changes the face, not the anatomy.
Layer proportions exaggerated for clarity.
UV lacquer
Coat after coat of UV-cured lacquer seals the surface. The finish takes the scuffs, the sunlight and the cleaning, so the oak underneath does not have to.
Oak wear layer
Solid oak, the part you see and walk on. There is enough of it to be sanded and refinished down the years, so the floor gets another life instead of a replacement. Along each long edge runs a micro-bevel, the hair-width chamfer cut into the corners above, which lets every board read as its own.
Cross-ply core
Layers of timber glued with the grain alternating. Each ply holds its neighbours still, which is why an engineered board stays flat where solid timber moves with the seasons.
Backing layer
The bottom layer mirrors the pull of the oak on top, keeping the board true through humidity swings and underfloor heating.
