Where it shines
The formal one: a floor at near-black that makes every room above it feel considered. The grain stays legible through the depth, so it reads as timber, never as paint.
What it pairs with
The strongest contrast in the lineup: cream joinery, white walls and warm timber furniture all stand sharply against it. Select grade keeps knots few and far between, so the dark stays sleek.
Keeping it right
