Where it shines
The colour of relaxed coastal rooms: pale blond oak that fills a space with light and never fights the view. Morning sun makes it glow; grey days stay bright on it.
What it pairs with
Linen whites, driftwood greys and soft blues are its natural company. Select grade keeps knots few and far between, so the pale stays clean rather than busy.
Keeping it right
