The golden middle of the lineup: it soaks up afternoon light and gives it back all evening. On the wide board the warmth runs the full length of the room.
What it pairs with
Gold pairs naturally with rattan, linen and warm timber furniture, and it stops white rooms feeling cold. Select grade keeps knots few and far between, so the colour stays even.
Keeping it right
